Hello, my name is Rico Nurhidayat. I would like to convey some difficulties regarding the withdrawal of my funds in my Octa account, which cannot be done. My account has been blocked by Octa, and I am unable to withdraw approximately $1623. Delayed withdrawal when in profit

I have uses Octa for about 6 months when they started playing games. I was profiting about 15K USD (Fix Rate). When I wanted to withdraw, they say a lot of excuses to delay my withdrawal. Some of these reasons include: We need to verify with the bank, we are waiting for the funds provider, holiday season, etc… And then after 1 week from my withdrawal request, they say my account is under investigation for suspicious activities. Yeah, the suspicious activities that they were referring to was I was profiting a lot…hahhahaha. Then i was informed they do this routinely to make sure their clients’ funds are safe. But when i asked my friends who used Octa, they never have this happened to them because they were profiting way less than me. And the. after almost 3 weeks, they finally approved my withdrawl request. aAnd one more thing, their customer service are basically all robots. they use fake names amd profile pictures. Please dont use Octa.

A few days later, the platform responded stating that the deposit amount is not larger than the profit gained, leading us to the conclusion that we must deposit a substantial amount to ensure smooth fund withdrawal, because the smaller deposits we have made are quite difficult.

I cannot withdraw my funds from Octa.

I have been trading with octafx since 2021, and so far there have been no problems regarding deposits or withdrawals. In the past few months, I have made a significant profit due to the increase in the price of the xrpusd pair, so I have been making frequent withdrawals. After several withdrawals, suddenly my account could not be verified and I couldn't withdraw funds. I asked through email and live chat and was informed that my account is being checked for AML and requested bank deposit statements from March to December. I immediately prepared the bank statement and sent it to octa support. After a few days, I received an email from octa's KYC stating that my account has been verified and I can make deposits and withdrawals. So I tried to make a withdrawal. However, the withdrawal status is always pending, and when I asked the live chat, they said that my account is still being checked with an indefinite timeframe. The large broker octa is withholding the profits that rightfully belong to me as a client.

    Octa provided a good service overall. Smooth deposits and withdrawals, not much of execution problems. Transparency is all about them. Though, for me, it was a significant drawback that I couldn’t control costs of trading. I focus on scalp trades and need some sort of stability, which obviously can’t be achieved by variable spreads. I would be happy if they added zero spreads accounts with fixed commissions.

    For some reason, my login info keeps resetting, this is making me upset. I'm not even connecting from other devices, its the same laptop. But about every month, it keeps suggesting I confirm all my info once again. Trading is good, the USD-based pairs, and pairs with NZD/AUD work well, I think Octa has bigger reach in SEA region, and I think the quotes are maybe coming from that region too. They're also good with crypto I've noticed. Just the website logs me out...

    Signed up to try out Octa a while back. Setup didn’t take long, but figuring out the extras took some time. Still learning how everything works together. Had a few moments where the charts didn't update as expected but nothing crashed. Support got back, just not fast. Works, but not super smooth for beginners.

    I depocited around 110$ in my local currency cause I was expecting the 10 to go to fees. SOmehow I got almost exactly 110, so I guess the conversion rate is pretty good here. Only that it took 3 HOURS to arrive, and even longer when i decided to withdraw the money And the bonus... oh it's not 100% like some other brokers, it's just 50 which is a real shame tbh.

    Let’s begin with that octa is a good broker. I’ve been trading with them for 2 years, to prove this fact. But, the ideal one, no I think, is too early to call it with such statements. I liked the conditions- good numbers on leverage, spreads and zero in the graph in swaps graph. Still, something is missing. IDK, maybe some platforms, like tradingview or ctrader, or some pro perks, like super leverage.

    Yes, it is a popular platform and it is a no brainer to offer it. However, what matters is that Octa offers MT5 and takes care of good execution and good speed of traders’ actions there. I can test how my EA run here even better than in m4.
